As I'm sure you can tell from the top of the page, I've decided to do a "Band of the Month," where I will choose a band and their current album that I feel should be featured on the main page. I am going to try and base it around bands that have upcoming albums, or around bands that have just released an album that I really liked.
If you'd like to submit your band, or give me suggestions of bands and albums that you think should be band of the month, send me an email or leave a message in the c-box. I obviously do not have the chance to listen to every single album all the way through, so there's always going to be something that I miss.
The whole point of this blog is to share music that not everyone has heard, so I'm also going to be trying to keep the BOTM post about bands that are unsigned or very indie so that people can discover some new music. After all, that is what makes this whole scene worth while.
Don't forget to check out the BOTM for June, 2009 - Destruction Island. They're a little different than most of what you'll find on here, but their current album is amazing and I'm really looking forward to their new album. Just click on the banner to go to the KTKF page with the download.
